GameStop is partnering with SoaR Gaming to host ‘1v1 Me Bro’ this weekend at the Cumberland Mall in Atlanta.

On March 8 at 2:00pm, fans can head to the mall and square up against SoaR Gaming players in an iconic snipers-only 1 vs. 1 on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. If anyone manages to ‘beat GameStop,’ they’ll take home a retro MW2-edition Xbox 360.

As a TLDR: SoaR Gaming is one of the OG gaming orgs founded in 2011, and built its name in those early years through its Call of Duty trickshotting videos on YouTube. They have been recently modernizing the concept through live, IRL 1v1s on the Atlanta Beltline.

Today, SoaR operates more as a digital media company, creating content for its 2M+ fans and as a creative partner for enterprise brands like DoorDash, Wendy’s, Coca-Cola, and others to help them reach an audience born online.
